SWD Bespoke is a well-established brand that specialises in selling high-quality doors. We offer a wide range of doors, from traditional to contemporary designs, all crafted to perfection. Maverick London, on the other hand, is a brand that creates bespoke furniture that is not only functional but also stylish and unique. Whatcombe Racing is a family-run business that has over 50 years experience with 21 Royal Ascot winners. The yard is located near Wantage in Oxfordshire and is owned and run by Paul and Oliver Cole. Recognised for their many classic winners, Paul's many successes include Generous, a horse who won the English Derby, Irish Derby and Kind George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stake. His Timeform rating is one of the highest ever achieved by any racehorse worldwide.
The families of both SWD Bespoke and Maverick London met Paul and Oliver Cole while on holiday in Antigua. We became close friends and have been playing tennis together for many years. We realised that our businesses could benefit from a collaboration, and have began our journey of working together.
Our collaboration has also led to an exciting new venture. SWD Bespoke and Maverick London have recently partnered with Whatcombe Racing to purchase a 2-year-old racehorse. The horse will run under the SWD and Mavericks brand and is expected to make its debut later this year. The level of bespoke detail which goes into both Maverick and SWD will be carried through to the clothing with embroidered logos and unique lining and piping details adding to our exclusivity. We are thrilled about this new project and can't wait to see our horse in action.
To celebrate our partnership and the new racehorse, SWD Bespoke, Maverick London, and Whatcombe Racing will be hosting a drinks party in the owner and trainers car park at Royal Ascot in June this year. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the families to come together and celebrate our collaboration while enjoying one of the most prestigious horse racing events in the world.
